    Accounts

One user using multiple accounts for any purpose is not allowed. Also not allowed is multiple users entering one account. In case any of the Staff notices something like this, these accounts will be permanently excluded from the forum.

Any impersonation of Staff members is strictly forbidden, especially when it leads to misinformation.

Creating a new account, especially in the case where your previous one was excluded from the forum will lead to exclusion of the new account and might even have consequences to your ingame accounts.

    The hierarchy of our Forum

Please keep in mind that mistakes can happen.

If you think you have been unfairly warned or banned, feel free to contact the person who warned or banned you and ask for more

information. In case you cannot reach them or can't get to a solution, feel free to contact the person above them in the hierarchy list.

These are the hirachy list of every Team:

    ________

    EN: Team Structure

DE: Das Elsword.DE Team / Hierarchie des ehrenamtlichen Teams

    FR: Equipe Elsword FR

    ES: Equipo Elsword ES

    IT: Staff di Elsword IT

    PL: Polski Team Elsword

    General Conduct in the Forum

Please keep in mind that the Forum is a place for communication, conversation, seeking help, giving feedback and socializing. While you might be angry, annoyed and in desperate need to express it, there might be other players that just want to spend a relaxed afternoon outside of the game. Please respect them and their ideas.

    Posting in the Forum

If you do not post in the correct section the moderators of the Forum might move your thread to where they think it fits best. Please make sure that the subject you are about to choose for your thread is really what your thread is about. It is really hard for us to collect your feedback or even understand what you want to point out if you are not really describing the problem. Keep in mind that thread subjects that seem to have as purpose to draw attention might be edited and the player that set them might get warned or even excluded from the forum.

    1. The reason why we do not like having bugs and exploits described in the Forum is because by providing information to the public, we risk getting players into exploiting this bug even more, even just because they are curious. Another reason is that the moderation team doesn't have a full technical knowledge of the game nor can really report these bugs to the developer.
In case you have stumbled upon something but you are not sure if it's a bug, feel free to post and ask other players if they ever had something like that. Please make sure you give the proper amount of information. Enough for players to understand what you are talking about but not enough for everyone to run and reproduce it.

    2. The filter of the forum is here for a reason and you are requested not to try to "skip" it. If you think a word is filtered, but it shouldn't be, feel free to contact one of our Board Administrators and report this.

    3. If a thread is closed, there is usually a reason behind it. It can be because there is nothing more to be added in the conversation, or that the conversation started to derail or that simply some "trolls" decided to camp there and just not let any constructive opinion to be heard. If you wish to add something to that conversation feel free to contact the Moderator that has closed it and ask them if they could reopen it. If they disagree, please don't insist (they might know something you do not) and do not open a second thread about the same issue. Wait for the spirits to calm down and ask again after 1-2 days if you still think it is worthy.

    4. You do not know who might read the Forum and what they might have in mind. Please keep yourself and others safe.

    5. It is at the very least rude to copy or make screenshots of private conversations or even ticket answers and post them in the Forum for everyone to see. If you need to report something from a message etc, feel free to do it discreetly to the Support. If you'd like to discuss about Support's answers please don't do it on the forum. Supporters don't come to the forum to post your answers. If you are unhappy with them, just press the complain button on your ticket and level it up.

    6. A thread has been inactive for a while and for good reasons, there is no need to bring up whatever thread you think you'd just like to be mentioned. Keep also in mind that many threads open per week about the same issues, the answer you might be looking for might be somewhere else, yes it is hard to try and find it, but we have to start from somewhere.

    7. While you are free to express yourselves as you like, please make sure that you are always doing it in an appropriate and constructive way. Do not insult, do not offend anyone and if you'd like to let us know that you do not like something, tell us why.

    8. For really obvious reasons any of these posts will be removed from public and the users spreading them will be permanently excluded from the forum. Risking your account is one thing, risking others is not acceptable.

    9. Players tend to contact and might even give private info to whoever they believe is related to any of these companies. Tricking your fellow players into thinking that they can trust you with private things while misleading them is not acceptable, will lead to permanent exclusion of the forum and might even have consequences on your game account.

    10. Anything related to law, rights etc has really not a place here. We are not lawyers, we can't really help you. Gameforge has a Law Dept so in case you have any legal concerns you can contact them.

    11. This is an Official Elsword EU Forum, if you'd like to talk about something else, there is for sure another Forum waiting for you somewhere. Of
course you can talk about whatever you like in the offtopic section but please try to avoid topics non-related to Elsword EU.

    12. While it might make you feel better to tell the world about how you unfairly got warned or banned the Forum is not the right place for this. This is something that concerns you and only you, and there is honestly no need to share it with others. The same goes in the case you are trying to "represent" your friend that got banned. You probably will know only one side and we cannot give you any information about this, so please if you are the one that has been banned contact out Support.

    13. Although we have Moderators that speak all 3 languages of the community it's quite annoying for them to have to move around threads or posts opened in the wrong sections. Yes, mistakes can be made and we will not hang you for that, but please make sure it does not happen too often. If you are not able to communicate in the language of the section that you are checking (let's say you are German or French and your English level is good enough to understand but not reply), please make a short answer in your own language and ask a Moderator of your language to translate your message.

    14. As mentioned above, these type of threads are here only to draw attention. If you'd like the Community Manager to answer to your thread or make sure it has been seen, all you need to do is to message them the link of the thread. If you want to discuss about something that is related to Gameforge, please create a thread that has as title the problem not the company name.

    15. It's easy, describe what you want to talk about in few words for players to see what is it about without having to read everything in it.

We have an extremely active forum and there are threads with more than 100 replies. When random posts pop up about a subject or a conversation gets totally derailed you are actually not providing any feedback, you are basically confusing 90% of the readers. Please try to keep the threads, especially in the Discussions and Feedback/Suggestions sections as clean as possible as this is where we mostly take our feedback from.
