Just installed the game again, main issue for is that - I assume Game Guard - is blocking any activity on my browser(Brave) - is there something I can do about it?

Unfortunately, as a fellow Brave user, there is nothing for us to do.
We shall look into this further and forward it.
From personal Experience, I would suggest opening the websites you need prior to launching Elsword (f.e, open Youtube and open at least 1 video to browse through Youtube videos while Elsword is running)

There is better browser which you can use, because I don't think that you can do anything about it or that it will be changed
There are browser like Chrome, Edge and Firefox and I never had problems using them
Brave is an unknown browser and could interact with gameguard and that's probably why it is blocked
