  • Epic Games was already sued by 3 artist for stealing their dance moves without giving credits and their consent.
    Russell Horning (floss dance) and Alfonso Ribeiro. (fresh) are the most known cases so far.
    GF would have to pay a license fee to those artist before they can sell their moves and i doubt GF is willing to go through all this hassle.

    This is the most logic Argument that it's impossible to import Fortnite Dances to Elsword. I'm sure that KoG wouldn't risk to get sued too.

    KoG would do that and GF would get it as usual Content just like with the K-Pop Dances. KoG is making a Contract with the K-Pop Groups and promote them with the Costume and Dance.



    I'm against this Suggestion, because of the legal Issues that Epic Games has to currently (well and often) face and the copied Dances in General.

  • So.. you want pointless things added instead of a bug free game? Can we at least have the developers working on something that benefits the entire playerbase instead of on something that maybe a handful of players would care about?

  • not sure how you come to the conclusion that I prefer a simple dance emote over bug fixes, this thread is merely a suggestion regards a dance emote, I said nothing about the priority from the suggestion


    and obviously, yeah there is no need for GF to risk getting sued - they dont even have to by just contacting the creator artist and not epic games (just because the dances got popular through fortnite does mean there is only one way to get them)

  • Ask yourself this - does it bring any meaningful value to the game? No, it does not. If you want the dance, consider playing the game it is already in, you're not going to see it added here most likely. And given how things would have to be implemented on the KR version to begin with, you're already looking at a rather large timeframe before it even hits here, by which time you'd be bored of the lame thing anyway.

    "this is elsword and any feature other games have do not belong here", what kind of argument is that? we already have dance emotes and there seems to be zero problems

    the fortnite dances have the same effect like avatar pieces: it looks nice/funny (does differ from person to person) it has aesthetic value

    if KoG already released some emotes what is wrong with having some more instead of getting the same old "lame" upgrade events and the same old "lame" balance patches which wont fix a single problem, but at least we can one shot dungeon mobs/bosses am I right
