    Greetings heroes of Elios! Here we are with another WNF edition, also this time a little bit different from the previous one. Insted, for all of you that are wondering "What the hell is this WNF..??", here a short introduction:


    the Weekly Night Fight is nothing else that a weekly event, managed by one or more GMs during weekends (Saturday and Sunday, for main challenges) and midweek (for Class Challenges).


    In previous edition, the event was primarily based on the PvP and it proposed itself like a Player/s versus GM/s challenge. The points were assigned in accord to victories, participant particular abilities and constancy to participate too. Then they were accumulated over two months approximately and used for the ranking list.


    In this edition it will change radically, since every weekly meeting will be stand alone and with its own ranking and awards. The main meeting will last two days (Saturday and Sunday), at the end of which the ranking will be drawn up and prizes will be sent. The challenge will be announced at the beginning of the week.

    For midweek challenges (Class Challenges) every ranking will instead be drawn up the same evening, and published with the prizes the next morning.

    Another peculiarity will be the nature of the event itself, this time the challenge will be only among the players, with the GMs that will simply act as referees.


    The event will start 1st of October.





    ~ Ok but, then what does the meeting consist?


    The fulcrum of the event will be challenges, simple and not too much in need of time competitions that allow us to finish everything in a couple of days. Among the various challenges there will be:



    rango26.png Mini-Tournament: a regular tournament with some typical rules. Each of you can register in real time and participate immediately in a match, without worrying about booking in advance. Even when the tournament has started, it will be possible to introduce and participate. Obviously there will be a limit number of participants.


    Rules:

    - minimum time.

    - direct elimination

    - only Arena Set +7 (socketing allowed), no avatar and / or accessories

    - allowed title: The Challenger

    - lag of any kind will not be tolerated. Once the match is interrupted due to latency problems of a participant, the participant will be allowed to come back a few minutes later, once the connection problems have been solved. (available only once per user)



    Title_10770.png Dungeon Attendant: it is a timed challenge, very similar to the event organized by the staff last summer. You will have to accompany a GM in a dungeon chosen at the beginning of the evening, wearing only the Ranox +0(Required Lv. 80) equipment and nothing else (you can buy it at Steel, Lanox Village Blacksmith). The GM will have the sole task of witnessing and run as quickly as possible through the sector. The ranking will be based on the time taken to complete the Dungeon from each of you. The dungeon selected may vary depending on the period.



    Title_20190.png Ghost-catcher: PvP mode designed by Axiot. In this original challenge you will find yourself in the PvP room with only the Camilla +7 Set and in the presence of an invisible GM! The purpose is simply to kill him. The GM will be able to move and dodge your attacks, but it will not be able to attack you, and once under the combos it will not mana-break (it will still be able to exit your combos if you are not fast enough). Occasionally the invisible GM will spot his position with a special active skill.


    Number of participant: 3 up to 7.

    Maps provided: Wally Castle Rooftop, Dyurahan Coliseum, Tyrant's Arena.




    Title_10770.png  Class challenges: special challenges, each only for some classes of characters, and available only on weekdays (Monday to Friday). PvP challenges will take place all in Camilla Sparring Room. Moreover, the room will be created with the three new rules (titles, resonance, pvp statistics excluded) set.

    400 meters: Simple! The participant will have to run from one side of the map
    to the other (by the bottom path) touch the wall with a Z command and return (by the top path) as quickly as possible (timed by the GM).

    - CA/BQ >>^xz not allowed.

    Shadow Jumping: Participants will only be able to deal damage to their opponents using the following
    technique: they must exploit the platforms to fly through the map, then use the skill Shadow Step Shadow_Step.png
    while flying to hit their opponents.
    - Room: Practice Channel (increased MP Regeneration), Survival mode.
    - Location: Sander.
    - Number of participants: up to 8.
    - No titles. Only set Camilla +7 (socketing allowed) and nothing else.

    Sting Judgement: regular 1vs1 PvP. The participant will have to defeat the opponent in the shortest
    possible time, having to hit him 5 times with Rail Stinger Rail_Stinger.png before killing him.
    - No titles. Only set Camilla +7 (socketing allowed) and nothing else.

    One Shot, One kill: regular 1vs1 PvP. You can only use Z combos (no skill) to deal damage to your opponent.
    The X combos, which are the shot of Revolver R_icon.png / Mega-revolver HC_icon.png / Musket M_icon.png / Automatic guns AG_icon.png ,
    will be usable maximum 3 times (3 hits, 3 short bursts of hit in the case of automatic guns). It will also be awarded
    an extra score if the Final Shot will be dealt to the opponent with a bullet. Less bullets are used
    during the match, the higher the score will be.
    Here is an explanatory table:

    - 1 bullet used, for the Final Shot: 3 points
    - 2 bullets used, 1 during the match, 1 for the Final Shot: 2 points
    - 3 bullets used, 2 during the match, 1 for the Final Shot: 1 point

    If the bullet used to attempt the coup de grace does not kill the opponent, it is considered as "used during the match".

    - No titles. Only set Camilla +7 (socketing allowed) and nothing else.

    Being daily and weekly prizes, we thought it would be helpful to most of you a set of items for both Dungeons and to socket your PvP equipment. The prizes will be:

  • That's a cool initiative, but i'm not quite sure how the midweek challenges work. To be able to participate we have to obey the requirements of particular class challenge, sure, but where exactly? Official pvp, or is there a special pvp room with GMs that watch over it?
    If 'regular pvp' is official pvp, how it will be exactly checked? GMs are all day in-game and watch the fights? :D

    Moreover, the events have already started two days ago, while i've just noticed ONE server announcement half an hour ago, without any information on main website... There should be more information spread around.
