It could be interesting to see more chars from the xenoblade series, especially if they can adapt their unique systems to fit the game like they did with the monado arts I'd have liked to see Dunban or Fiora, but we see both during Shulk's final smash, so ... Yeah, Rex and Pyra are next on the list.

I guess there'll be a pokémon to represent the last gen, too. Incineroar and Decidueye could be interesting, maybe Zeraora and Kommo-o too.

As for mains, I'll probably stick with Snake and Shulk, maybe some others like Link, Samus and Corrin. Dunno about the Inkling, I'm not convinced by what I've seen of it. I could be wrong tho.

My personal top 3 would be Rex from XC2, Shantae and Gardevoir (didn't even know I wanted her to be playable until recently lol)

Also Waluigi, Goku and Shrek for the memes.

You can Play Gardevoir in Pokken Tournament... But it would be nice in Smash too.

A "Hunter" of Monster Hunter would be nice as playable Character xD

I didn't like how Pokken felt when I played it. It felt heavy and very restrictive compared to other 3D fighting games.

Deep down, I know Shantae isn't going to make it but I want to believe there's still a tiny chance for her. Rex, on the other hand is a given. Since I heard that Ultimate's roster was decided back in 2015, I think he'll be coming as DLC. I'm 90% sure he's going to be in the final game. Especially since XC2 did sell well.

With the inclusion of Cloud, Bayonetta and now Rathalos, everything's possible. Which Hunter would they put in though? Great Sword would make the most sense since it's the most iconic weapon of the series but on the other side, you have Sword&Shield which is the go-to weapon for beginners. You also have the Longsword, which is the most popular weapon in the series and all the other weapons. Also, I suppose they would go for a generic af design. Maybe a Rathalos armor idk.
