Bad opinion incoming but... If you are poor person like me and is sensitive, You will not like NA period. the prices are expensive the rates are 30:100, the community will be mean to you for being nice. Not also that, NA didn't give us gear like EU did. Which I'm surprised for an official server. The +11s in NA cost about 10b or more. While in EU they are 3b~5b. Yes the font really bothers me.

why are you bringing this up when thats not even the point of this suggestion, besides:
they already had the event we currently have, not anymore since its over (duh)
can someone explain to me what the economy of a completely different region has to do with a bad performing client?
but yeah an update to the topic: it is 2020 and the clients performance is still bad. i'd even argue that it is worse then when i began to play back in early 2013. but i don't have any evidence for that. lets hope this decade we get an overhaul on the client.

Honestly, don't get your hopes up, chances are nothing will happen. I had many ideas on the old UK forums regarding the client and other actual useful suggestions, but nothing ever came of those. I even suggested a more robust update pre-patcher/downloader akin to how Windows update handles things, nothing came of that. Not even my unified client + language switcher functionality I suggested way before a merge ever existed (in the few years that servers were practically dead and everyone was asking for a merge to happen). Biggest issue regarding the client is the fact each client is separate based on language, resulting in them needing to test every bug on every client which drastically slows down things. Should just do what every normal application does these days, load languages from an external file (why else do you see a language subfolder with a bunch of .dll files or whatever in, when you install something?). And given the fairly recent phishing links that were going around, you'd have thought my Google Authenticator integration I suggested all those years ago would've come to light, but instead back then I pretty much was told "we have the pinpad, it is up to you to keep your password safe".
Don't get your hopes up, the performance issues have existed long before the merge occurred, it'd be a miracle if they bothered to act now.

Do you really think a KR company wastes resources on an exclusive EU client and make it worse just to get people upset?
Some client issues are EU exclusive due to the update pattern, to fix them theyd have to release updates in the exact same way as they do in KR but thats partially more work due to more patches and we would still hate the game, so why even bother. At least were getting most balances patches earlier. If you change patch history you can cause bugs, its like mixing up the way some drinks are mixed. Some cocktails are like that, mix them in the wrong order and it tastes awful
Another thing are EUs server, GF states its DDoS, I say its CP 2234. Someone else mentioned a crazy maniac mutant mouse inside GFs serverroom. Whatever it is, its there and it has nothing to do with the client
The 3rd and most bothersome issue is the client engine, which is outdated and .. well.. bad for what its supposed to do. This engine is basically a 1990 PC and the game is Skyrim with 300 mods or some (newer) Ubisoft game. Gl with that, doesnt matter what your actual PC is, the engine will cause problems (when the game closes without any warning, its usually due to your system shutting down the game because the game does something that could harm your PC and a lot of FPS drops and "diashows" arent because of your PC but because of the engine using up too much resources). To fix that they need to redo the entire client, the only company that ever did that is NCSoft with BnS so dont get your hopes up. Probably wont even be worth it, Id expect the game to shutdown before they get any meaningful profit out of the new client - assuming they would start like right now

hate to be the GF bootlicker in this case, but it was never confirmed that those DDoS attacks are a definitive cause to the disconnects
